About
A family studio with
two generations in the door.
TruDoors was started by Constantin, a designer who got tired of selling other people’s catalog doors. He drew an entry the way he’d always wanted, found a master iron worker who could forge it, and put it on his own house. People knocked on the door and asked who designed it. The studio has been running ever since.
Long before the iron studio took its current shape, Constantin spent more than thirty years in residential construction— building houses, including multi-million-dollar estates — so rough openings, sequencing, and job-site reality were second nature long before the first forged entry shipped.
Today the family’s second generation runs the front office, and Constantin still leads every drawing himself. One small team — same thread from first sketch to install day.
What we believe
Doors should outlive the trends in the rooms they open into.
We turn down work that doesn’t fit. We don’t sell stock catalog doors with custom-sounding names. We don’t install a door we wouldn’t hang at our own house.
The flip side: we’ll walk you through how iron is quoted on a square-foot basis versus bargain slab imports — or when a simpler door honestly fits. The best project is still the one you’re proud of a decade later, long after our crew has left the driveway.
